Jack's Story...
Hey terrier lovers!! My name is Jack and I am a 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier who is super smart, spunky and fun! I have great house manners including being completely house and crate trained and wonderful with kids! I am very loving and I can learn millions of tricks because I really am exceptionally gifted in the intelligence area!
Want to teach me a few foreign languages? Maybe you need some help with your math homework? No problem - I'm on it!
I am a true terrier so I don't do well with felines or small dogs. I need to be the only pet or with possibly another very large dog and I would really really love a large fenced yard or some great pacific northwest land where we can play fetch and run like the wind!
I will be a wonderfully loyal and kind pet if you let me be myself and keep me challenged both mentally and physically - we can learn and explore the world together!
I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.
My adoption fee is $180

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Portland Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
