My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stillwell. I chose this name for him because despite the fact that he’s just a puppy, this little guy runs deep. You can see the thoughtfulness in his eyes and sense his unusual intelligence. With the right training, I’m convinced this puppy could learn to do just about anything.

And not only is Stillwell a smart little guy, he is also a very beautiful animal as well. His vibrant caramel coloring is softened with white trim and topped off with gorgeous golden eyes. When Stillwell is relaxed, his ears are folded to his head, but when he is attention is piqued, his ears stand up beautifully. We believe that when Stillwell is fully grown, he will still be a petite little guy.

Don’t let this rare jewel slip through your fingers. Stillwell’s time if quickly running out…..

The animals at the shelter have five days to find a home. The Humane Society of Cherokee County, Inc., is the rescue and adoption agent for this shelter. We are trying to save as many animals as possible from this shelter by adoption. The $75 adoption fee includes all rabies, DHPP and bordatella vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, and heartworm test.

For a quick response and/or adoption appointment, email us at cherokeeshelter@gmail.com. The Cherokee County shelter is located in Gaffney, SC just a few minutes off I-85 and only about 20 miles northeast of Spartanburg, SC and about 50 miles southwest of Charlotte, NC.

We are very rescue-friendly and will work with reputable rescuers to get these animals to safety. Thank you for helping us to save the life of a homeless, unwanted, and soon to be killed, shelter animal!
