Mabel is a 3 year old, 23 pound gem of a pup. She is low energy and has perfect manners. She walks like a dream on the leash, likes car rides, she is crate trained and almost fully potty trained, and just wants to hang out with her people. In foster care she follows her foster mom around (supervising) and enjoys the company of the other calm, well mannered dogs. She gets along fine with the cats in her foster home with the exception of the rude teenage cat who she has no patience for. To be fair, the rest of the animals in the house share her sentiments on the matter. If you are looking for a chill, easy dog, Mabel may be your girl!
This dog is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested positive for heartworms and has been treated. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
