Biscuit-pending's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Biscuit-pending's Story...
Biscuit is approximately 1 1/2 yrs old, has badger markings on his ears and has the double dew claws on his back paws. He gets along with both small & large dogs (from a dachsund to another Pyr). He's a bit unsure about coming indoors so far. He's a very affectionate dog and even gave me a wet willie on the drive home from the if to say thank you for getting him out of jail. He will be up to date on shots and neutered before adoption. Biscuit was found to be positive for heartworms. He will have to be treated before adopted.
Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to Great Pyrs. We have the best selection of pyrs in Texas and we do home checks and vet checks before placement. We start with adoption applications (no cost/obligation) and we make placements on a first submitted-first approved basis.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Biscuit-pending, a Kyle Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Kyle, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Kyle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kyle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kyle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kyle paves the way for another one to be saved.
