My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosie is a female 6-month old miniature Australian Shepherd pup. Her coat coloring is a two-tone reddish/brown (almost sable), with white markings on what is going to be a rough coat. Rosie is darling, as she currently has cute floppy ears and a sweet, sweet face.

Rosie has had a bit of a rough start in life. She came into our rescue program quite feral and is still learning that humans can be trusted and are nice. She is still very timid around people, but she is progressing with small steps forward. She walks nicely on a leash and loves walking as part of a pack. This is where she really comes out of her shell and her tail begins to wag.

She comes inside and house breaking is well in process. She has no issues with cats.

Rosie, at this point in her life, is a special needs girl. She is going to be a spectacular dog with the right rehabilitation. She will outgrow those insecurities with a person who is willing to channel her training in a positive environment and exposing her to the outside world beyond a backyard. She's requires an adopter who has patience, and who is experienced in raising a timid & somewhat feral puppy.

Adopters must be committed to work with the destruction and energy associated with raising a puppy, along with housebreaking accidents.

As with all puppies, socialization and puppy obedience classes are a must. This will ensure that you will have an outgoing, socialized, well behaved, and well adjusted adult dog in your family. Her adopter will be required to complete her series of puppy vaccinations, including rabies. In addition to their adoption fee, a fully refundable deposit is required to secure their sterilization in accordance with state law.

Rosie is being fostered in the Redondo Beach area.
