Anna's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Anna's Story...
Anna is a spayed female, Lab, about 1 year old, med-large. She is friendly and likes attention. She is housebroke, good with kids and good with dogs. Anna chases cats. Anna was brought to the shelter, because her main care giver went to college and the person at home doesn't want to take care of Anna any longer. Anna needs a caring, responsible guardian to take her home today and value her as a friend and companion for the rest of her life. Use ID# 5-14-4. If you are interested in any of our homeless pets, please CALL IMMEDIATELY. Due to lack of staff and time to check email, we ask that you call the shelter at 574-896-5060 to insure that contact is made. Our hours are: Mon.-Sat., 10am-4pm central. If unable to get through to staff during public hours, please keep calling until contact is made. If calling after hours, please, leave a message on the answering machine. We will return calls, if you leave your name and number. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anna, a North Judson Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in North Judson, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in North Judson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Judson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Judson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Judson paves the way for another one to be saved.
