My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are the Wooster Bluuueeeesssss!! I'm Chippie! And I'm Billie!! We are Blues singers! We were dumped off around the shelter & scared to death!! We found yummy food, sneaked in to eat it, heard a loud noise, turned around to get outa Dodge & WHAM! Trapped! Thank goodness, we were together. Then, those 2 legged creatures came & took us someplace that was REAL noisy. We heard Paula say things like "no hope...too scared...crowded shelter". She came back the next day & took us to a place with a really nice lady to stay for a couple of days. We took a long ride to another place that has black & white dogs kinda like us. We are settling in & you know what? This aint too bad! These 2 legged creatures aren't so fearful afterall. We like to get petted & those ear massages are like heaven! We are even learning that walking on a leash is fun. We need a quiet home with someone who will help us build confidence & learn how to be good girls.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Our adoption process helps a homeless Border Collie find a forever home while enriching your life with a special new family member! We would love to answer questions about a particular Border Collie, but we need to know some information also!
Our process includes:

1. Filling out our application. Please go to this link:
Buckeye BC Rescue Home Page

2. Meeting with a BBCR volunteer in your home.

3. Discussing potential dogs and setting up an adoption visit.

4. Adopting a great Border Collie that is suited for your environment and needs!

Please be patient! This process does take some time!

Our Border Collies listed on our website are just a representative sample of the dogs BBCR has
in its program at this time. Some may still be in the evaluation process and not posted yet. If you are interested in adopting a Border Collie from BBCR and don't see the dog that interests you, please fill out
an application.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative. There is no facility that is open with set hours. Our Border Collies are fostered in our homes where they are evaluated for general health and temperament. Our fee is usually $220 - $250 (may be higher in certain cases).
