Bones's Story...
Your anatomy lesson for the day: Did you know that your body is full of bones? But I bet you didn't know that you are presently missing one very important "Bones." Me! You probably know that the knee bone is connected to the thigh bone, but, you see, this "Bones" is unconnected right now and hoping to connect with a loving family. I'm Bones, a cutey-cute black and brown hound mix. But I’m on the small side, probably mixed with beagle. I sure do like to bay like a hound, though. I think that this Bones is a real Funny Bone. I like to talk and make sure that everyone knows my name. Or at least knows that I’m around! I can act like a puppy sometimes, and I like to chew. Particularly when I’m left alone at home. It’s called separation anxiety – I’m so anxious for companionship, you see. So I’d do best in a home with another canine pal or someone who’s home to shower me with attention. I’m friendly to adults and kids – kids think I’ve got a real funny way about me, and I think they do, too! Kids make great playmates and like to chase me – and I’ll chase them right back. I told you I’m a real Funny Bones. (Please note: I can only be adopted to a home in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. There will be NO exceptions to this policy.) APPLICATION PENDING!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bones, a Aldie Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
