found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Houdini, along with other cats (including Layla – see separate listing), was rescued from a local farm where they were not being fed. What a horrible existence for any cat, but especially hard for such sweet kitties.
Houdini has tested positive for FIV. FIV stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. It is NOT contagious to people or dogs. FIV can suppress the immune system but most cats live very long and healthy lives with FIV. For more information on FIV go to http://members.petfinder.org/~PA16/fivshowcase.html . Our volunteers would also be happy to discuss this condition with you.
FIV can only be transmitted to other cats through a bad bite or scratch, and this sweet little boy wouldn’t hurt anything.
He loves to be held and just purrs away.
Won’t you please give Houdini the forever home he deserves? Houdini’s estimated date of birth is March 2007. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV.
Like this cat? To submit an adoption application for this cat, please go to the Stray Cat Blues website, www.straycatblues.org . At the top in the middle you will see a link for “House Cat Adoption Application”. Click on this link, complete the short form, and be sure to click Submit at the bottom. One of our Adoption Reps will be in contact with you within a couple of days to guide you through the adoption process!
There is no adoption fee for Special Needs cats like Houdini (though donations are still gratefully welcome). You would still need to submit an application and be approved, and you would need to be a able to meet the Special Needs of this cat.
