The mother was a Shih Tzu/Basset Hound. Father was a Boxer/Lab
2 Males (Gunnar & Petey), 3 Females (Sunshine, Brownie, Marley).
Marley is shy and likes to be held like a baby with her tummy rubbed. She sits very still and will just lay in your arms while you rub her tummy. Sunshine is the boss. She likes to run the show and is a bit of a bully. She is the most active of them all. She doesn't have time to stop. Gunnar is lazy. He likes to just lay around, but loves attention. Brownie is a bit like Marley. A little less shy than Marley and a bit more active, but loves tummy rubs and will lay still and cuddle with you. Petey also loves attention and will follow you around if he thinks you'll give him an ear rub or scratch under his chin.

Petey - 4lbs

Marley-2.7lbs
Sunshine- 4.7lbs
Gunnar-3.8lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marley, a Lancaster Shih Tzu/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Boxer for sale in Lancaster, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Lancaster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lancaster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lancaster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Boxer breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lancaster paves the way for another one to be saved.
