Babette's Story...
DOB: 5/26/06

Babette's mom was rescued from some people that were not taking care of her (and alot of other cats!), and when we took her in (the mom) she was very pregnant and gave birth to 4 kittens. Babette had a rough start and nearly didn't make it, as she developed pneumonia, and it took a great deal to nurse her back to health, but she is a strong girl and had a strong desire to live! She lives in a home with numerous cats (and a dog!) but doesn't really seem to be friends with any of the cats. She seems to like the companionship of the dog best. She's a sweetie pie, although not overly needy.

If you are interested in adopting Babette, please contact Sharon at to have an application either e-mailed or faxed to you, or you can call me at 626/676-7648.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Babette, a Pasadena Russian Blue cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Pasadena, or seeking a Russian Blue cat from a breeder in Pasadena.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pasadena already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pasadena breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pasadena paves the way for another one to be saved.
