PUPPY ROCKET's Story...
Rocket is my name! I bet you’d like to know how I got that name, huh? Well, being the first born and all, I guess I surprised my mommy and my foster family when I “shot out like a rocket.” I don’t understand the big deal, but I guess it was to them. I’m a little nervous hearing that I will soon be separated from my brothers and sisters. Are you the one that could provide me with the love I need?

If so, and you'd like to know more about me, please send an email to doginfo@labrescuers.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PUPPY ROCKET, a San Diego Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
