My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These adorable frisky little things were discovered (along with their siblings Jasper, Roscoe & Bootsie – see separate post) living in a tiny crawl space between two stoops in Brooklyn when they were about 6 weeks old. Fortunately they were rescued and put into wonderful foster homes where they’ve been thriving and getting along great with the two resident Greyhounds! Now they are nearly 10 weeks old, sweet, playful, healthy, extremely well adjusted, and ready for permanent homes.

Julep is a sweet little peach. She seems a little demure at first, but don't let the fool you - she’s still pretty daring! She loves to wrestle with her brothers and chase toys. She is also very curious and although she's still a little shy, she cannot resist a polar fleece string toy! (or food!) Not only is she a great beauty, she’s a fierce string hunter too. ☺ Julep warms up to you quickly once you start petting her, and once you scoop her up, she likes being held. Her brother Tito is a tiny boy with a big personality. The smallest of the litter, he’s basically a mush in the making. Once you get him into your lap, he will zonk out within minutes and sleep there until you move him. Tito is going to be one seriously mellow love-bug! He’s still a kitten, though, and loves to chase strings, pounce on his sister, and sneak up on anything that moves. Tito’s foster people think that he and Julep make a good pair and would like to stay together. If you are looking for a young playful pair - look no further! These cuties will amuse, entertain, and charm their way into your hearts, and I think they will grow up to be very sweet and mellow cats. Whoever welcomes these delightful imps into their home is going to be very lucky! If you are interested in meeting them or learning more about Julep & Tito, please email brooklynrescues@gmail.com or call 917-701-0968. **These 3 need to find a new foster home by Memorial Weekend! If you are willing to foster, please call for more info! Thank you!
