My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brownie (Lila)-Meet Lila! She is a senior and lost her home and was surrendered to the Bloomington Animal Control Department. She is the sweetest most mild mannered dog ever! She is a real good girl and deserves a loving home to spend the rest of her years in. She is 16 years old and has no serious health issues which is amazing, she may break a record! Beagles can live up to 20 years, not common but some do and we think Lila just may show us all! She does have some slight arthritus and is not as steady on her feet as she used to be but gets around well enough. She's very nice, very quiet (not a sound unless she is really bothered), she LOVES to go outside for short walks, dances excitedly when it's time to go for a walk and for dinner, plays with her foster mom, and sleeps when she's not directly interacting with her. Perfectly housetrained, and she eats happily. She's very sweet & unusual. She truly will be asleep at every moment when she's not on a walk (or just after a walk, which is when she likes to play) or eating. She is fine with other pets but is only interested in playing with people and typically ignores other dogs when they want to play.

If you are looking for a kind old soul who will be so grateful for a nice home you have got to contact us about Lila!

Contact vhall67@comcast.net to obtain an application. Submit the application form and we will schedule a time to meet the pet. If interested in adopting we require a home visit and an adoption agreement with a fee. Beagles over 5 years of age have an adoption of $100 and if younger than 5 years the fee is $125. All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, are up to date on vaccinations, and a copy of vet records is provided upon adoption to set up a file at your vet. We suppy collar, temporary ID tag until you can use till you get one, and leash. All beagles are micro-chipped as well.
