Kelly originally came to Cedar Farm in March and was gobbled up quickly by a family and she did beautifully with them. Unfortunately, the new Mom was very allergic and they tried everything to make it work but had to return Kelly to us. It was a tearful day, but that family knows we will find Kelly a real home that will be a great fit! We think Kelly is AWESOME but think the best info comes from her family of the last two months. They say "Kelly is a sweetheart!" She is a great listener and never jumped on the furniture (living room or bed) unless she was invited. She never had an "accident" in the house and ran to her crate when the treat bag was opened. (We recommend crate training and crating while the family is away). They say she LOVES feeding time and will greet you with adorable bounces and jumps. She is great on a leash and loves walks. They said she can easily do a two mile walk daily. She loved taking car rides with her family and did several hikes with them. She was friendly to everyone that came to visit them, never barking at anyone new and would "lick a visitor to death before ever harming them". She loves her belly scratched and is happy lying at your feet.
Kelly is about a year and a half old. She weighs 23 lbs. and is up to date on her shots, spayed and on monthly preventative for heartworms, fleas and ticks. She is microchipped. Contact cedarfarm@yadtel.net for an application for adoption or call Tony (336) 251-8877 for more information.
