Baby Boy's Story...
Baby Boy is a 9 month old puppy. He and his sister "Sissy" were brought to Phoenix from a Missouri puppy broker. They have since been raised with other dogs, cats, and children. Sissy is a snuggly dog. Baby Boy would love to sleep with you in your bed every night but it is only a treat once in a while for him. He does like to curl-up with a pillow or blanket on the floor. He really hates car rides and drools excessively when has has to take a trip. We have many foster puppies so Baby Boy is not completely housetrained, he does use puppy pads. It isn't that he can't be trained, it is just very hard to train multiple puppies at the same time. He is still a puppy and likes to chew, you must be ready to work on training and put away your favorite pair of shoes. Baby Boy weighed 16 pounds at his last vet appointment. He has a longer Doxie-like body, with a Schnauzer coat.
Baby Boy is neutered, microchipped, and had his vaccinations (Rabies, Bordetella, 5-in-1). His adoption donation is $225 and is refundable within 30 days if he does work out in your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby Boy, a Mesa Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
