Dean's Story...
This handsome guy has a regal bearing and a playful manner that makes it quite easy for him to endear himself to all who meet him. Dean is a Shepherd mix, and with that tail that circles up, we think there could be a bit of Husky in him, too. Dean loves to be outside and explore the great outdoors, so he would be ideal for someone who is active and likes to hike or take long walks. Being confined for long periods of time is definitely not on the top of Dean's favorite things to do. He is also not fond of cats. However, Dean is a big cuddler and will roll on his back so you can get that spot on his stomach just perfectly! Come meet this handsome, affectionate pooch and see for yourself what a magnificent dog he truly is.

Act quickly to adopt Dean. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dean, a Berkeley German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
