My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Matilda's owner told us she had no time to take care of the rabbit with four children, too. She said she likes to be dressed up in clothes and wheeled around in a stroller. Matildal is 6 months old. UPDATE-FROM FOSTER FAMILY: Matilda is a very sweet and curious girl who loves to have her head petted. She will approach her foster mom and dad and allow them to sit with her for long sessions of head rubs, but is still adjusting to noise. Although very friendly, she is extremely sensitive to noise and has a tendency to be easily startled. Regardless though, she is not shy of people! In fact, she loves her out-of-cage time and happily follows her foster parents from room to room, exploring. Matilda is a chewer, but as long as you provide her with toilet paper rolls or magazines, she leaves important things like wires alone--still, her new family will have to bunny proof and watch her when she's out. A couple of hand claps will steer her away from any tasty looking cords or cables, though, so keep that trick in mind! She is a bit of a picky eater and we can only guess that this is because she was never really given a variety of food so she might not realize that greens and veggies and bun-friendly foods. She loves her hay, however, and will also eat pellets and some romaine. We're hoping that with time she will branch out to more veggies! Her litter habits at excellent and she knows to go into her cage and use her litter box. We've had no troubles with her in that department at all. Matilda would be a wonderful pet for a quiet home or one with older children.forbunnysake@aol.com for a application, visit our website at Forbunnysake.Petfinder.org.
