My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our super sweet gal Mya, a young, spunky shepherd mix weighing in at 70lbs. Mya came into rescue after finding herself in a rural TN high kill shelter, dangerously close to having her days there numbered. One of the kennel staff, who fell in love with her advocated endlessly to get her out of the shelter and lucky for Mya, CPR came though. And boy are we glad we got there in time, because the world would have missed out an incredibly sweet soul. Mya is a social, happy-go-lucky gal that loves everyone she meets. She adores playtime and walks, and will make an awesome outdoor adventure partner. She bunks with 3 other dogs and gets along great with all of them, so no issues with sharing here. Mya is a total ham and just loves to be with people... free hands mean belly rubs! And she's even great with the littles. Plus she's been a super star in foster and has excellent house manners. There's really nothing this gal needs but a family to love. And once she finds a forever home, she'll be that loyal go anywhere, do anything as long as you're there with me ride or die gal. Sweet Mya was saved for a reason, and she can't wait to pay it forward and be that saving grace for some lucky people.

Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pup’s with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!

The adoption fee is $450 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
