Cambria's Story...
I am Cambria, a sweet gentle shy gal looking for love. Sure, I may be insecure and feeling a bit out of my element right now but what do you expect- I have been through so much lately. All alone wandering the streets, then one scary shelter and now another….my oh my how am I ever supposed to feel safe?  I just need to find a person I can trust, then I assure you I will be a wonderful, loyal companion. I do very well with other dogs, but will need a home without little children. I really am eager to introduce myself to new people, I just need you to take things slow.  Come on in and meet me, give me a little time and I will snuggle right into your lap and give you sweet little kisses…..
4 years old-64lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; spay, microchip, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, reduced cost training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cambria, a Portland Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
