Siamese Cat for adoption in North Highlands, California - MacDougal

Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

MacDougal's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with cats.

MacDougal's Story...
MacDougal, born approximately December 2005, is a gorgeous, Chocolate Point Siamese with slightly crossed blue eyes. We thought we would call him Mac, but he is such a Doofus, his nickname is "Doogie." This is a VERY active and demanding cat. He talks but his meow isn't overly loud. He purrs "hard" - just blossoms at the attention. If someone would like to foster him while he is waiting for his furrever home, that would be GREAT because this cat MUST be an only cat. He attacks both male and female adult cats. He is great with halfgrown or smaller kittens though - very paternal acting. Fine with dogs! **NOTE** He is also, unfortunately, indoor/outdoor. He loves the outdoors too much to be kept inside.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MacDougal, a North Highlands Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in North Highlands, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in North Highlands.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Highlands already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Highlands breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Highlands paves the way for another one to be saved.
