My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kobe is a beautiful flame-point Himalayan male that has been shuffled around too much in the last year. First he was surrendered to HPC by his first family that expected a second baby and couldn't handle all the pets they had. He was adopted out last year by us, but the adopter did not comply to our advice that he needs to be an only cat or give him sufficient time to get used to a second cat and only after a year tried to "get rid of him" in the worst possible way(s). Luckily we found out about what she had done and was planning to do and rushed to get Kobe back. So again Kobe needs a safe and stable forever home with someone who understands and respects that he will not be happy with other cats. He MUST be the ONLY cat!

Kobe is affectionate and loves to be close to his people. He is not a lap cat, but likes to be pet and will let you know when he has enough. He likes to sleep on the bed and hang out on the couch watching TV with you. Kobe likes to talk when talked to and is crazy about feather toys. He is a really wonderful cat when there are not other pets around. Once he gets a toy in his paws, he won't let go easily, you will have to wrestle him for it!

This wonderful cat has been through so much lately and really needs a home with someone who will just let him relax and learn to trust again, he will come around quickly, but will need some patience. Kobe is currently in a lion cut, so he won't get too warm in summer and is easier to take care of. His eyes are not the teary kind but still need to be cleaned occasionally. Since Kobe has been through so many changes, we want him to go to an adult home with no other cats, dogs and young children. We know he will be happy and content as the KING OF THE CASTLE!!!
