Norman is a Boxer/Shepherd Mix. He is Tan/Fawn and Black. Norman has his tail docked. Norman is 3 Years Old. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He weighs around 67 lbs.
Norman is a relaxed gentlemen. He has a very calm sweet personality which makes him a joy to have around! He loves being around people and will sit by your feet while your watching a movie. Norman still needs to gain at least 10 pounds, which won't be hard since he LOVES food and treats! He also knows how to "Sit" especially when you have a yummy treat in your hand. Norman gets along with all dogs and will wag his bobtail at them when he goes up and gives them a welcome sniff. Norman is a very gentle boy who doesn't jump or have any bad habits. He is just a wonderful laid back boy who wants someone to hang out with. He does enjoy taking walks and loves to sniff out his new area. Norman isn't a very playful boy but he loves to be around you and never leaves your side! Norman would be the perfect companion to anyone!
Norman would do well in any household. He loves everyone he meets especially the calmer crowd since he just likes to wander on over to you and give you a sniff and wag his stub! He is a very well behaved boy and would make the perfect companion to anyone who is looking for a big gorgeous gentlemen in their life! He is completely housetrained and tells you by going to the door and not settling down and he wants to go outside! Norman is just a perfect little gentlemen looking for his forever family!
Norman is not aggressive with other dogs, she has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
When we pulled Norman from the High Kill Pound he was tested positive for Heartworms. At that time he stayed down at the vet and boarding facility where he was treated for his heartworms. His new owner will have to keep him on heartworm preventative monthy.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors.
There is a $100 Adoption Fee for all dogs. Which includes the Spay/Neuter, Parvo/Distemper Combo Shot, Rabies Shot, Worming, Heartworm Tested Negative if over 6 months and Flea/Tick Prevention.
