Marilyn's Story...
Marilyn is a sweet beautiful little calico kitten who is looking for a new family to call her own. She and her littermates are named after the famous moviestars because they are all classic beauties. Marilyn (Monroe) is very social and loves being a kitten - running, playing and sleeping are her favorite activities! She also has a "diva" personality, just like Marilyn who could have been a torti in another life herself.

Marilyn is scheduled for her spay surgery weekending 6/18. At that tie she will also be given her age appropriate vaccinations and she will be ready for adoption shortly thereafter.

If you are interested in learning more about Marilyn, please contact PAWS at the e-mail listed to arrange a meeting or request an Application. Her adoption fee is $70.

PLEASE NOTE: All of our kittens are spayed or neutered before adoption. If you are interested in adopting this kitten, the first step is to complete an Adoption Application. Many of our kittens are “held” for approved applicants prior to their scheduled surgery. You can request an Application at the e-mail below

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marilyn, a Oklahoma City Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oklahoma City, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Oklahoma City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oklahoma City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oklahoma City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oklahoma City paves the way for another one to be saved.
