Pippi's Story...
Pippi is a very popular girl – everyone seems to love her! Although she spent her last few weeks at the pound, as soon as she got out her gregarious personality returned. She didn’t sit around feeling sorry for herself, she immediately started playing with her fellow rescued dogs. Pippi has a bit of an independent streak, so she needs someone with patience and commitment. She’s a wonderful, beautiful little girl who can’t wait to start her new life!

If you are interested in meeting Pippi, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321.

[Pippi is 6-8 month old and 12.5 lbs.]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pippi, a Marina del Rey Wheaten Terrier/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier/Shih Tzu for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
