JakJak's Story...
Meet JakJak!! He is a wonderful little 2 year old pup. He is full of personality and he is very active. JakJak is good with other dogs, but would probably be better as an only dog. He is very much the textbook version of a Jack Russell Terrier. JakJak is as smart as can be and needs to be kept mentally busy. He needs activities and lots of attention. He is a very affectionate boy. He loves to be held like a baby and have his belly rubbed. JakJak is housetrained and crate trained, but will have accidents in a new enviornment in the beginning. He would do great with some obediance training or maybe even some agility training. He is fast as lightening when he runs and very athletic. He is playful and a very happy boy. Why Adoption is a Great Option

JakJak, a Portsmouth Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Portsmouth, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Portsmouth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portsmouth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portsmouth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portsmouth paves the way for another one to be saved.
