Rufus Ray's Story...
Arooo to you! I am Rufus Ray, straight from Georgia!! I am a 3 year old tricolor male beagle. I was transported all the way from Georgia to Arizona by some fabulous folks that took me on this amazing journey. I am enjoying the sun and my new life here in Arizona! My foster family has several dogs, and I am getting along great with them. I am a smaller beagle boy, not too big, and a bit on the submissive side. I do tend to get a little frightened if someone puts their hand out at me. I just need to leran to trust people again.

So, please, would you like a little southern boy to come and live with you?? I sure hope so, as I would love to be part of your life! Please consider adopting me, you won't regret it!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rufus Ray, a Phoenix Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
