Beagle Blue's Story...
Hi Folks!! I am Beagle Blue, a 6 year old tricolor beagle boy. My family decided that they needed to find me a new home. They had a baby, and I was great with the baby when he got older, but when he was small, I was a bit upset with him falling on me. I never hurt him or anything, but it made them nervous when they decided to have their second child. So, they came to Arizona Beagle Rescue to see if they could help me to find a home, that just has older kids living there.

My foster Mom has only great things to say about me. She is always bragging about .. How sweet I am..How happy I am when she gets home, because I know then... is play time!!! Even though I am 6 years old, I have the fun attitude of a young pup. I love to play with my toys. I bring them over to my foster mom and she giggles when I run and run after them. When I do bring it back to her, I don't usually drop it, I like to have her try to get it and that's when she gets a little flustered, but I love it.. .

I also love it when she takes me for a walk. She used to drive to get her mail, now she an I enjoy walking together to do that task. She lets me check out the neighborhood, but she holds on to me when I try to get ahead of myself..

I showed-off when my foster mom took me for my first Vet visit. She was so proud of me..The place was packed with Great Danes, Labs, other mixes and even cats and I did not bark, but was on my best behavior. She kept telling me what a good dog I was and I said...."I know... but don't stop saying it...give me a treat!!"

You must be saying to yourself...what's wrong with me?....Actually there is nothing much, I get along with all my adults and older children...I just don't like it when the little ones get to close and I am not sure what their intent is. I snap at them. It is not my intention, it just scares me a little. Otherwise, (as my foster Mom says), I will be happy just about anywhere, were I am loved and played with. A family with children over 5 will be just great!!

If you want an older dog (but acts young...hee hee).., well behaved, ready to play, barks at odd noises (great protector), that's me...Beagle Blue!!! Blue for short.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beagle Blue, a Phoenix Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
