Max's Story...
Max was born on May, 15, 2002. He just turned lucky number 7. He has a darling peke face, always looks sad but is a happy go lucky guy. Max weighs 19 pounds. He's a darling boy with excellent manners. He's well crate trained, walks well on leash and LOVES riding in the car. We were told that his coat had to be kept short due to skin issues but he hasn't had any skin issues here. Maybe he was on a food that didn't agree with him. He does have ear infections that we are treating now. He had a dental. His mom put him into rescue because she said that she needed to focus on herself. Now Max is ready to focus on you and be your best bud for the rest of his life. We think that he'd do well in a quiet home.

The adoption fee for Max is $200. Each of our dogs is up to date on all shots, including rabies, spayed or neutered, microchipped, fecal tested for internal parasites, treated if necessary, tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, on heartworm preventative and we also take care of dentals or any other medical needs they may have.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a House Springs Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
