Fluffy's Story...
Fluffy's a cute little guy that looks to be equal parts red heeler and blue heeler. Born in March, he's socialized with people and other pups. Any kids should be at least middle-school age.
Note that he appears to be deaf. However, a deaf dog is easy to train--just use nonverbal cues like we should all use with our animals. They are very visual and respond well to gestures and nonverbal cues.
His adoption fee is $75. FREE "New Pet" DVD & booklet + 5 lbs. of Science Diet.

We can't release an animal until it's spayed or neutered, but approved adopters may complete the paperwork, pay the fee, and claim the pet as soon as it's fixed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fluffy, a Tahlequah Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Tahlequah, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Tahlequah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tahlequah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tahlequah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tahlequah paves the way for another one to be saved.
