My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 05/18/09: Chloe is an adorable 3-1/2 y/o 7# yorkie who is being fostered in Palm Coast, FL. Foster Mom feels that Chloe truly needs a home in which she has one stay-at-home parent as she exhibits separation anxiety when she is left alone for any period of time - when she cannnot see Foster Mom, she runs around the house in a panic and howls. FM feels that Chloe would be very sad if she were crated or gated-off in a small area for any period of time. Although Chloe was an only dog in her previous home, she loves other dogs and another doggie companion in the home close to her age or size is preferred, and may also help Chloe gain some independence and security so that she is calmer when her 'people' leave. Chloe craves attention - a lot of it - she bonds very quickly and strongly to her 'person' and like the little Princess she is, she craves attention and loves to be babied.

UPDATED BIO 05/13/09: Chloe is an adorable 3-1/2 y/o 7# yorkie who is being fostered in Palm Coast, FL - she was going to be moved to another foster home, but her Foster Mom felt that Chloe was doing so well in her home that she thought she'd be better off staying there. Chloe has begun playing with her foster sister, Brittany, a little bit - she is a very playful and happy little girl. Chloe craves attention from her 'person' and for this reason, FM feels that her perfect home would be one in which she had at least one stay-at-home parent - a fenced-in back yard would be a bonus since she loves to be outdoors! Chloe is a little cuddle-bug and loves to give kisses. She also loves to go for walks and enjoys meeting other dogs on her walks. Chloe must have some kangaroo genes in her since she can leap tall buildings almost! She is spring-loaded and can jump over almost any gate. Chloe would do well as an only dog, or with one other dog who is close to her age and size. Chloe has been in an adult-only home and tends to play a little rough for children under the age of 12 y/o. She is a very smart little girlie who has learned how to sit, lie down, shake and roll over. She is a lovely little yorkie girlie who will make someone a wonderful companion.

INITIAL BIO 05-09-09: MEET CHLOE (renamed)! She is a beautiful 3 1/2 y/o 7# yorkie who is being temporarily fostered in The Villages, FL. Chloe was surrendered by her owners who loved and spoiled her very much, but they felt that she would be happier in a home where she would receive more attention and not be left alone so much. Chloe is a little cuddle-bug and loves to give kisses. She also loves to go for walks and enjoys meeting other dogs on her walks. When at home, she enjoys looking out the window so that she doesn't miss anything going on; when she's not looking out the window, you may find her in a basket of laundry still warm from the dryer. :) She especially loves to be outside, so her perfect home would be one in which she would have a fenced-in backyard to run around in - she has a lot of energy! Chloe also loves going to the beach, but is very reluctant to go in the water because of the waves. Chloe definitely would like to sleep with her person and enjoys burrowing up under the covers. She appears to be spring-loaded as she loves to jump and can jump really, really high. Chloe would do well as an only dog, or with one other dog who is close to her age and size. Chloe has been in an adult-only home and tends to play a little rough for children under the age of 12 y/o. She is a very smart little girlie who has learned how to sit, lie down, shake and roll over. She loves playing with toys and likes her person to play 'chase me' when she has her toys.
