My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'M JUST A LITTLE FELLA WITH MANGE. CAN YOU HELP ME? THANK YOU FOR GETTING ME OUT OF THE SHELTER!!

UPDATED BIO 05-31-09: Pepper is an adorable yorkie-poo who is now 10 weeks old and currently weighs a healthy 4.13#; he is being fostered in Boynton Beach, FL. Pepper has been diagnosed with Demodex, a skin condition, and he has received 3 out of 8 treatments. He is a very spunky and smart little man. Foster Mom reports that he is now always using the wee-wee pad for wetting, but sometimes misses when he goes to poo. He is a typical busy little puppy who is learning quickly from Foster Mom's Proper Puppy Etiquette classes! He loves playing with his foster brother, Elvis, and like most puppies plays very hard, then falls asleep quickly. He is learning to walk nicely on a leash and loves it when people tell him what a cute boy he is! Pepper won't be ready for adoption until he has received his complete set of puppy shots and has been neutered. Please check for regular updates on how little Pepper is doing. PLEASE NOTE: Pepper's adult weight should be close to 7-8#. Unless he exceeds that weight, he can only go into a home with children older than 12 y/o.

INITIAL BIO 05-15-09 MEET PEPPER! Pepper was just rescued from the shelter today - what a lucky puppy! He is a yorkie-poo and is only 8 weeks old and currently weighs 2.8#. Pepper appears to have a skin condition, though he tested negative for Demodex. We will have him re-tested as Demodex often doesn't show up in initial skin scrapings. He won't be ready for adoption until he has received his complete set of puppy shots and has been neutered. Please check for regular updates on how little Pepper is doing. PLEASE NOTE: Pepper's adult weight should be close to 7-8#. Unless he exceeds that weight, he can only go into a home with children older than 12 y/o.
