My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Dorie and I am a 2-3 yr. old, tri-colored beagle girl. I am a smaller beagle and only weigh about 14-15 lbs. I won’t get any bigger, unless you give me some extra treats. I was rescued from a shelter and then brought to Penny Angels Beagle Rescue so that I could find my new home. I get along with other dogs and cats. Right now I am very shy, so I will need to find a person that is willing to be patient with me as I learn new things. I don’t know how I ended up in the shelter, or why it is difficult to trust new people. Can I trust you to give me a safe & happy place to live?
