Livvy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Livvy's Story...
Wiggle jiggle. Wiggle jiggle. Wiggly jiggly doo...here comes Livvy, cute as a bug and happy HAPPY happy as can be...picked up as a stray and never claimed...she's obviously had a litter and after she was used up she got tossed out. Such a shame...but Livvy holds no grudges, she's happy to share your space and perhaps do a little dance for you. Her rump just keeps wiggling. Clean as a whistle, this girl is, and she's on her way to the shelter and will be with us soon. She's approx. 45 lbs. of pure love and kisses. Neat coloration too - she's tri-color.

Livvy has been great with all the older kids who come to visit at the shelter - they're ages 7 thu 15. We do not know how Livvy would be with toddlers and the younger set - ALL dogs need to be supervised along with the younger children when they are together.

She keeps her kennel clean at the shelter. We strongly recommend crate training for all pets, it will help with their housebreaking and give them a sense of security in their new home, just knowing they have a space all to themselves. She also will sit and give you her paw. The lights are on with Livvy - she's a smart little girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Livvy, a Marseilles American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Marseilles, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Marseilles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marseilles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marseilles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marseilles paves the way for another one to be saved.
