Dominque's Story...
You've seen my brother Tuck and my sister China, now look at me. I'm the pretty one...lol OK so we're all pretty, but I'm the black one, when I haven't been rolling in the grass (see pics lol). I have a loads of energy, but I'm still young so with a little training I'm going to be a wonderful friend. I like to jump, right now, but am getting better. As you know, Labs are really smart dogs! All it takes is love and attention. I hope you have some energy for me, and a place for us to run around and play!

Call anytime to have a look at me. Leave a message in case my foster mom is out, but she WILL call you back. (731) 643-MUTS (6887)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dominque, a Yorkville Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner for sale in Yorkville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Yorkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yorkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yorkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yorkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
