Icon's Story...
My name is Icon for a special reason. I inspired a person to create an idea of grooming dogs in LA shelters so that their lives could be saved. This is my story: This person was walking through the shelter and noticed this long dirty tangled mess (that was me). She got very sad because she could tell how sweet and handsome I was by my eyes. — She decided to groom me so I could get out of the shelter faster! This inspired her to create a mobile grooming service to help save all my brothers and sisters in the pound. She has tried with some dogs, and it worked! One day, she was at the pound and groomed 14 dogs. All those 14 dogs were adopted out! Now you understand why she named me Icon. I am very sweet. I love taking walks or just watching TV. I would love to have a permanent home so I can have a forever family to love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Icon, a Marina del Rey Cockapoo/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cockapoo/Corgi for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Cockapoo/Corgi dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cockapoo/Corgi breeders who help with Cockapoo/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
