My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

At about two to three years old, Scottie has a loving personality and an adventurous spirit. He is the Sherlock Holmes of cats as he likes to investigate every nook and cranny from time to time to make sure nothing new has popped up. He enjoys heights and the aerial view he gets from up there. It’s the best spot to watch all the commotion happening below. He never stops collecting evidence.

Scottie was left behind when his person was evicted. We were told his dad was a breeder of Scottish Folds but our vet tells us that Scottie’s ear is an in vitro deformity. You often see this in a cat’s tail but not often with their ears. We think this adds a touch of individualism to this gentle guy.

Once settled into his permanent home, Scottie will become a cuddler and will expect good conversation from time to time. After all, once all the evidence has been collected you will need to know his findings.

Scottie is neutered, FIV and FeLV negative and has finished his vaccines.

If you would like to learn more about this unique feline detective, phone our cat coordinator at 503-284-8768 evenings and weekends or fill out our "I'm interested" form. ARCF’s mission is to rescue homeless animals so we do not take in owner released pets.

Please note, we adopt out to the following counties: Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington and Clark.
