Daisy's Story...
Meet Daisy, a medium sized, fully vetted spaniel/basset mix! She is completely house trained and very social. She gets along well with other dogs and kids and loves to "sit pretty" for treats. Always happy to see you with a smile on her face that reaches from eye to eye when you enter the room! Her favorite place to sleep is a blanket on the floor but has been known to nap in the big dog cage to. She would make a happy addition to any family. We think basset/spaniel mix- but its just our best guess. She sits back on her cute shorty legs when she wants attention! Contact Megan at dinty99@aol.com for more information on Daisy

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Plainfield Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
