Golden Retriever Dog for adoption in Cleveland, Ohio - Abbi

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Abbi's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Abbi's Story...
Abbi is a newly-diagnosed epileptic senior who recently began stargazing and having petit mal seizures. Now that she is taking daily medication, the possibility of her having more seizures is small. Since she still may have the occasional episode, however, it is important that she is watched around stairs because of the falling hazard. Abbi is wonderful with children and other dogs; not sure about cats and is thunderphobic. She has an average energy level for a dog of her age, therefore, a fence is not required. Visit our website at www.grinrescue.org to complete an application. Please note: we can only adopt out to Ohio residents.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abbi, a Cleveland Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Cleveland, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Cleveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cleveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cleveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cleveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
