THIS IS JOEJOE....a handsome, tan/white, 14 lb, 2.5 year old Lhasa Apso....whose start in life has not been fun. His original owner took him to the shelter because he had diarrhea....and once he was OK, he was adopted to a new home. He got out of his new home and when the owner was tracked down through the microchip, a month later, she had moved to a place that would not allow her to keep the dog. Sigh. The person who found JoeJoe could not keep him....so in four months, JoeJoe has had as many homes -- due to no fault of his own! Suffice to say, he is shy, a little skittish and reserved. But it only takes a blink of an eye for him to jump in your lap and beg for love -- love that he totally deserves! He will need a patient home, someone home -- or another dog as a companion, but mostly human companionship. He will not be placed in a home where he will be left behind. He needs confidence and needs to know he is worthy...so worthy!! This is a prince of a dog. He might need a refresher course on housetraining, but we were told he was trained. No guarantees! JoeJoe is a winner....Kids over 10 yrs old OK.
Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

We hold our adoption events most every Sunday from 9am - 2pm at the Brentwood Farmer's Market (West Los Angeles). You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!! And don't forget to check out our
