JOE JOE's Story...

THIS IS JOEJOE....a handsome, tan/white, 14 lb, 2.5 year old Lhasa Apso....whose start in life has not been fun. His original owner took him to the shelter because he had diarrhea....and once he was OK, he was adopted to a new home. He got out of his new home and when the owner was tracked down through the microchip, a month later, she had moved to a place that would not allow her to keep the dog. Sigh. The person who found JoeJoe could not keep in four months, JoeJoe has had as many homes -- due to no fault of his own! Suffice to say, he is shy, a little skittish and reserved. But it only takes a blink of an eye for him to jump in your lap and beg for love -- love that he totally deserves! He will need a patient home, someone home -- or another dog as a companion, but mostly human companionship. He will not be placed in a home where he will be left behind. He needs confidence and needs to know he is worthy!! This is a prince of a dog. He might need a refresher course on housetraining, but we were told he was trained. No guarantees! JoeJoe is a winner....Kids over 10 yrs old OK.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JOE JOE, a Los Angeles Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
