My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Red Dog. Red dog is about 4 years old. We are making him an honorary BC but believe he is a JRT mix. A shelter asked us to herding test him because they thought he had a strong herding instinct. We tested him and he has absolutely no interest in livestock.
Red dog has a shorter, but dense coat. ( a bit like a lab's coat) He is white with light red markings.
Red dog is so much fun! He loves to play and can be a real clown. He seems to always have a smile on his face. Even though he is around 4 years old, he acts like a puppy sometimes. Red dog likes to be with his person and likes to be doing something. Red dog is crate trained and loves people. We need to test him on children but so far he appears to tolerate them well. We also think he will take readily to playing fetch, but we have not tried him with toys much yet.

Red dog needs obedience training but he is so eager to please that he should learn quickly. Red dog knows 'sit', 'down', and is working on 'come'. He is very excited when he meets new people, and jumps up a bit. However, when you tell him to 'sit' he plops his rear end right down on the ground :)
