Bingo's Story...
Bingo is a white and chesnut brown sheltie/ papillon mix. He is a one year old neutered male who weighs 5 pounds. He is adorable, precious, happy and sweet. However, he is a fear biter so he needs a home with no children. His family dumped him and his buddy at the pound as they were moving. His buddy didn't get out of the pound. He is crate trained. If you are interested in adopting Bingo, please call Penny Adams at 619-466-0426. This dog cannot be adopted out of state. See our schedule of Saturday adoption sites on our home page.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bingo, a Spring Valley Papillon/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Papillon/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Papillon/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
