Roodie's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Roodie's Story...
Roodie and his friends came to VPAS after being born to a stray cat. They were very shy at first, but with some time in foster care they have really come out of their shells and Roodie has turned into the most cuddly kitten in his litter. He is friendly and inquisitive, and although he gets a little worried about being picked up, he enjoys sitting on your lap being stroked (he'll even roll over so you can rub his belly better.) He has a great purr and loves to run around hunting for treats. Although Roodie can entertain himself well, he will enjoy having a feline companion to play with. If you would like to meet Roodie please come to our adoption centre for a visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roodie, a Saanichton Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Saanichton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Saanichton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saanichton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saanichton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saanichton paves the way for another one to be saved.
