My name is Scotty!

Border Collie/Boxer Mix Puppy for adoption in Houston, Texas - Scotty

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Scotty's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Scotty's Story...
I am a playful puppy who is very affectionate and friendly. That makes it easy to give me attention. I like being with my littermates (there were 8 of us!) but am also curious about other dogs and cats. At this point, I am almost ready for housetraining and crate training and to start my “lessons” on how to be well mannered. So if you have time for some puppy fun and socialization, I am ready for a new home. My estimated adult weight is about 40 lbs. My edob is 3/09.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scotty, a Houston Border Collie/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Boxer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Border Collie/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Boxer breeders who help with Border Collie/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
