Dottie's Story...
Dottie is a 2 year old Dalmatian mix-Truly, we are not sure what she is mixed with. She is very petite, weighing in at 40 pounds and has front and rear dew claws. She also has two black blotches on her rear right side. But no matter what the mix, this little lady will steal your heart. All she wants is human contact. She snuggles up to you, gives the sweetest kisses, and will hug you. She is ok with other dogs(better with males) but a tad bit too intersted in cats. Her little hind end wiggles when she meets kids, and has lived with kids in the past. Her previous owners gave her up, with the excuse of not being able to keep her safe. Dottie is a delight. She is housebroken and trustworthy left out in the house. However, she can destroy a crate in no time flat. Luckily, crating her is not needed and she is calm and well behaved. Dottie has an unusual bark that is raspy and not load. Her two beautiful blue eyes will look right into your soul. She will shower you with total devotion and is happy to ride in the car or take a nice long walk. Dottie is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dottie, a Steger Dalmatian/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Steger, or seeking a Dalmatian/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Steger.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Steger already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Steger breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Dalmatian/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Steger paves the way for another one to be saved.
