Slinky's Story...
A fabulous fellow!

Slinky. Slinky! Slinky? Who names a dog "Slinky"??? How I got that name is beyond me - I don't slink along at all! Sometimes I may lack a little self confidence but after you've been through everything I have you too might feel a little down. I stand tall, proud and handsome if I say so myself! Just look at me! Aren't I attractive?! What I may lack in self-confidence I MORE than make up for in the affection department. I am hoping that I will be lucky enough to find a kind owner who will help me build my self-esteem up so that I believe I am as wonderful as everyone here at PAWS tells me I am. What it really boils down to is all that I want is to love and be loved. That's not too much to ask for is it? I'm male Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer mix, about 4 years old, and weighing in at about 57 lbs. I'm already neutered and have all my vaccines.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Slinky, a Norwalk Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
