MARIAH's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

MARIAH's Story...
This little sweetheart was abandoned at a local marina. She has been spayed and is now ready for a forever loving home. She has been socialized with two small dogs, a cat, another kitten and children and loves to play with all of them.

She is currently in a foster home in Nanaimo and arrangements can be made to visit her there.

An adoption fee applies to help cover the cost of spaying, parasite control, and her first shots.

For your peace of mind, all of our adoptable pets have the option of being covered for 6 weeks of pet health insurance at no cost to you.

Please contact Barb at 250-947-9404 (Parksville) or email catnapinfo@shaw.ca if you are interested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MARIAH, a Nanaimo Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Nanaimo, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Nanaimo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nanaimo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nanaimo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nanaimo paves the way for another one to be saved.
