I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
Stanley is a sweet guy who was rescued as a tiny kitten with his brothers. He is very receptive to love and affection and is a special love bug. He loves to be petted and when he's super comfy he will flip over on his back and sit next to you upside down. He is a very sensitive, gentle, and loving guy. He is playful and loves pushing around plastic spring toys. He has an adorable brother named Maxwell. He could be placed with his brother, another mellow cat, or be as a happy solo. He should be placed in an adults-only home. He is looking a lot like a lion cub as he's matured. We estimate he was born April 10, 2009. Bio# 2814B HH

Rescue Group Info...
ICRA is an all volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the suffering of the abandoned cat population of Alameda and Oakland, and to educate people to their plight. We provide foster homes for our rescues until we can place them into loving homes through our adoption program. On a limited basis, we humanely trap feral cats in order to spay/neuter them before releasing them back to their colonies. Our goal is to expand our program for maintaining cat colonies in our communities. To make this expansion possible, we need more volunteers.
Adoptions are hosted at PETCO, 2310 S. Shore Center, in Alameda's South Shore Center, every Saturday from —
11 am to 4:00 pm
No cats show on major holiday weekends.
Enter the store, head to the right past the registers and straight ahead to the far wall of the store. There is a door there where you will find our cats.

Potential adopters pick out a cat or kitten and fill out an application.
There will be a short interview with one of our volunteers. Adoptions do not happen the same day. We will arrange a time to visit your home and the foster parents and a volunteer will meet there. Our adoption fee structure is:
- Cats and kittens (six months to 8 years): $100
- Cats (over 8 years): $75
- Two cats: Full amount for the higher amount cat, half amount for the lower amount cat
For example: a kitten and an adult would be: $100 + $50 = $150
Prior to Adoption all cats and kittens are:
- Spayed or neutered
- FeLV and FIV tested
- FVRCP vaccinated
- De-wormed, and
- Treated for fleas with Advantage or Frontline
Alameda, Oakland, and surrounding communities.
