Apollo's Story...
Apollo is a 12 week old yellow Lab mix pup. He has been extensively socialized with men, women, kids, cats, other dogs...you name it....he loves 'em!

Apollo is a very special pup, he made it out of his shelter in the nick of time. He didn't know shelters could be bad places because he is such a young guy, but boy was he happy to get to his AdoptALab.org foster home and live the high life! Talk about good kibble and great treats! And the accommodations, who knew a bed could be so soft!

As always at AdoptALab.org puppies are spayed or neutered before going to a new home. They get three puppy shots and a rabies shot. Apollo has had all this vet care and is ready to go to his new home...got a soft bed anyone?

If you would like to adopt Apollo, please submit an adoption application from our website, and see our other great Labs who are looking for their forever homes, happy tails, and more!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Apollo, a Boston Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Boston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
