CUR HOUND

DOB 7-07

CONTACT: Kristina.Carothers@bakerhughes.com

Meet Miss June! She is super sweet but a big one! She is currently around 65 lbs but could stand to gain a couple pounds putting her closer to 70. She is around two years old and is a strikingly beautiful brindle Cur Hound . She gets along great with all our dogs from our toy breeds to the other big hounds we have. I have not seen her around cats so could not vouch for that but she seems to like all people as well- little and big.

If you would like more information about one of the dogs featured above, be sure to send a note to the "Contact Person." This is the person fostering the dog and they will be happy to answer any questions you have. Please don't just show up at Adoption Day expecting every dog to be there. We are limited by the number of volunteers who can help at each Adoption Day.
Also, in sending your note to the Contact Person, be sure to include information about yourself, family, home, yard, fence, other pets, work situation, and pet accommodations. This information will help us make the best match between you and one of our dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

June, a Kingwood Black Mouth Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black Mouth Cur for sale in Kingwood, or seeking a Black Mouth Cur dog from a breeder in Kingwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black Mouth Cur breeders who help with Black Mouth Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
